Project Analyst (m/f/d) Battery Storage Hybrid Energy Systems
Responsibilities
Monitor and analyse energy markets with a focus on ABO Wind’s 16 core countries to gain and develop in-depth market understanding
Support feasibility studies on regulation and economic fundamentals of the target markets for actual and future battery revenue streams
Support the revenue stacking calculations and perform feasibility analysis for stand-alone battery storage projects or hybrid projects
Identify, validate, and develop business models for battery storage systems as stand-alone or hybrid solutions with renewable energy projects
Advice the Finance Department to build up financial models
Support technical negotiations with investors on analysed business cases
Qualifications
Academic degree in an economic, technical, or mathematical discipline
Experience in the analysis or development of renewable projects, and ideally battery storage projects
Understanding of energy storage business models and financial matters
Ideally, knowledge of the electricity market of at least one of ABO Wind’s core countries
Analytic mindset and high numerical literacy including advanced Excel and/or programming skills
Good communication, project management, and negotiation skills
Previous experience in consultancy is a plus
Business fluent in English
