IT Infrastructure Project Manager (m/f/diverse)
Job Description

The vacancy can be staffed in Regensburg, Frankfurt or Eschborn
Overall accountability for the delivery of worldwide IT infrastructure projects with end-to-end responsibility for the successful realization in time, scope, and budget
Analyzing business requirements, defining the scope of work and leading the definition process of the solution, service design, and billing models
Elaborating and controlling the project budget, actively leading the capital request process, and continuously report the budget status
Establishing, monitoring, and controlling project plans, project phase plans and milestones
Defining and tracking project risks, describing mitigation measures, and contingency plans in case a risk occurs
Stakeholder management, analysis of stakeholder interests and influence and development of a communication strategy
Defining the project organization with roles and responsibilities, workstreams and work package owners
Alignment with functional and line management to properly staff projects and initiatives
Engaging regularly with clients and review the requirements, deliverables, scope, and solution proposals
Facilitate workshops to align the project team around the project goals to meet targeted deadlines
Report regularly to the steering board, portfolio and IT infrastructure management with comprehensive presentations adjusted to the audience
Providing quality assurance through alignment sessions and gate reviews and follow Continental’s IT project management standards and policies

Job Requirements
Academic degree in computer science, engineering or similar field/comparable qualification or vocational education with relevant professional experience
Strong ability to motivate a project team around shared goals
Several years of project leadership experience with proven track record on managing complex IT projects
Experienced in leading global project teams by applying agile and classic project management methodologies
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure technologies such as storage, compute, and network
Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken); German language skills desirable
Ideally Scrum Master and PMP/PRINCE2 certified
Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Pro-active, forward thinking mindset and passion for IT project management
High standard of professional integrity and trustworthiness
Strong intercultural sensitivity and ability to leverage diversity
Willingness to travel, also internationally
