Job Description

Governing the further development of the strategic sustainability programs & projects, especially with regard to Continental’s sustainability ambition
Development, definition and consolidation of sustainability targets on Group Level
Ensuring strategic action on relevant sustainability requirements from regulation, customers and internal stakeholders
Leading the carbon neutrality program Net|Zero|Now
Operational implementation of the integration of sustainability in relevant group processes (group strategy, compensation schemes, IR, financing, etc.)
Monitoring, challenging and supporting the sustainability strategies and roadmaps of the Group Sectors
Ensuring consistency of programs, projects, targets, learning and engagement related to sustainability
Ensuring consistency of formal sustainability frameworks
Ensuring adequate sustainability learning as well as capacity and community building
Ensuring adequate framework and processes for sustainability engagement and reporting to customers
Ensuring adequate infrastructure for sustainability engagement and corporate citizenship activities governed on Group level

Job Requirements
Academic degree in sustainability, engineering, economics, finance or comparable qualification
Long-term experience in Strategy, Business Development, HR, ESH, Communication, Program Management or Sustainability
xperience in working in intercultural and remote project teams
Leadership experience in a matrix organization
Advanced experience in leadership and employee engagement, internal communications, transformation and leadership development
Strong expertise in sustainability transformation, sustainability standards and customer sustainability strategies
Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
Good network in relevant expert communities in Germany, Europe and worldwide
Communication and conflict management skills
Advanced analytical skills and precise and structured working style
