Job Description

As analog mixed signal design engineer (m/f/diverse) you specify, design and implement functional circuit blocks to meet the specifications of an IC. You have the opportunity to work on Continental’s diverse innovative automotive applications and find optimized solutions for their specific needs. Special care must be taken during design to meet the stringent automotive requirements. Willingness to support the layout of the circuits you designed is desired.
Your tasks include
Participation in feasibility studies for ASICs and specification definition
Transistor level circuit design
Design, simulation and test of analog and mixed signal circuits
Design documentation
Design validation
Development of test procedures
Support transition to manufacturing
Collaboration with digital design, layout, verification, test and application teams

Job Requirements
Master of Science / PhD in Electrical Engineering / Microelectronics / Physics or similar specialization
Deep expertise in design of mixed signal circuits
Advanced knowledge in semiconductor backend production (testing, assembly, failure analysis)
Experience with IC design Tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor) and scripting languages (Python, MatLab, Skill)
Experience in more than one of the following fields is desired: high performance data converters, frequency synthesis, ESD protection, chip level verification using SystemVerilog, chip architecture definition, top level integration experience / full chip responsibility
Several years of relevant design experience, automotive applications experience is a plus
Very good English language skills written and spoken, German language skills desired
Planning and organizing skills, ability to take initiative and to communicate effectively, eagerness to grow and develop
